| Abstract: | Breve apanhado sócio-histórico do lundu – gênero de dança, canção e instrumental luso-afro-brasileiro – e apresentação da edição musicológica do Lundu da Marruá, a partir do documento P-Ln, M.M. 4460 pertencente à Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa, Portugal. Os poucos manuscritos musicais ainda existentes de alguns lundus sugerem que a variação, a glosa e o improviso eram práticas musicais comuns aplicadas àquele gênero durante o período. |

The few surviving manuscripts of some lundus suggest that variation, glossing, and improvisation were common musical practice applied to that genre during the period. |
