The study group comprised 353 players from first-division clubs in the U-14, U- 15, U-17, U-20, and professional (PRO) categories. The allelic and genotypic frequencies did not differ significantly in any of the categories between the group of players and the control group. This was the first study of ACE-I/D polymorphism in Brazilian soccer players.en-USrestritoPerformanceGene expressionGenetic selectionAngiotensin-converting enzyme (ace-i/d) polymorphism frequency in brazilian soccer players.Artigo publicado em periodicohttps://www.nrcresearchpress.com/doi/abs/10.1139/apnm-2015-0514?url_ver=Z39.88-2003&rfr_id=ori%3Arid%3Acrossref.org&rfr_dat=cr_pub%3Dpubmed&#.Xig2p8hKhRbhttps://doi.org/10.1139/apnm-2015-0514
