| Abstract: | Este estudo pretende contribuir para uma história da recepção da obra de Max Weber no Brasil entre as décadas de 1930 e 1980. O texto procura ressaltar a importância inicial dos historiadores neste processo (especialmente Sérgio Buarque de Holanda, José Honório Rodrigues e Fernando Sgarbi Lima), e discute o trabalho pioneiro de sociologia do Estado Novo escrito por um discípulo direto de Weber, Karl Loewenstein. Ao fim, fazemos um balanço dos primeiros livros importantes da Weberforschung brasileira. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | This article aims at contributing to a history of the reception of the work of Mark Weber in Brazil between the 1930s and 1980s. In it we try to highlight the early importance of Brazilian historians in this process (especially Sergio Buarque de Holanda, José Honório Rodrigues and Fernando Sgarbi Lima), and discuss the pioneering work in sociology of the Estado Novo, written by a close disciple of Weber, Karl Loewenstein. Finally, we analyze the first important books of the Brazilian Weberforschung. |
