| Abstract: | Este estudo possibilita reflexões sobre o papel da violência propagada na televisão e sua influência nos desenvolvimentos sócio-emocional e cognitivo das crianças. Procura associar o “ambiente televisivo” a comportamentos agressivos. Alerta pais e educadores sobre o fascínio/sedução que a televisão exerce sobre as crianças – imitação, identificação e ou compensação. Aponta a necessidade de amplas discussões envolvendo as crianças e a mídia e a adoção de medidas para protegê-las da exposição da violência pela televisão. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | This study enables reflections about the role of violence on television and its influence on children’s socio-emotional and cognitive development. It tries to associate the “television environment” to the aggressive behaviour. It also alerts parents and educators about the fascination/seduction of television over the children – imitation, identification and or compensation. It points out the necessity of broad discussions involving the children and the media and the adoption of measures to protect them from the exposition to television violence. |
