| Abstract: | Este trabalho visa discutir como os professores de matemática podem trabalhar em salas de aula e ambientes multiculturais de forma a reafirmar background cultural dos alunos. A utilização da História da Matemática aliada à Pedagogia Culturalmente Relevante é considerada uma sugestão pedagógica para atingir esse objetivo. Discutimos sobre os teóricos que apresentam a Pedagogia Culturalmente Relevante e apresentamos, brevemente, alguns trabalhos que realizam uma ponte entre essa teoria e a História da Matemática para ressaltar as características culturais e étnicas dos alunos. |
