dc.description.abstractenThe transition process from Industry 3.0 to 4.0 requires that the production line has knowledge about the process in progress and this involves the development of interconnected systems capable of collecting this information as well as new interfaces for human-computer interaction that allow interested parties to interact with these systems since in specific contexts complete automation of these processes is not possible or allowed. Therefore, people must be included and able to interact with these automated systems and make decisions about the process. In this context, Mixed Reality resources are shown as an alternative for involving people in the process. It allows the user to have their perception increased through information from the industrial environment. Therefore, the use of Mixed Reality resources as an aid tool in carrying out collaborative activities in an industrial context is promising. Therefore, this work seeks to evaluate how the use of Mixed Reality resources impacts the performance of collaborative activities in Industry 4.0. Thus, works and tools from the literature were identified, and their limitations were listed. We established a test context that would allow evaluation with users on the performance of an equipment inspection task in a collaborative way, using the means of interaction between handheld and handsfree devices, in addition to the use or not of Mixed Reality resources. As a result, we have the development of a tool for people interaction using Mixed Reality resources in wearable equipment, in addition to analyzing the application of this tool in the proposed scenario with other technological combinations. The results demonstrate that the difference between handheld and handsfree devices and the use or not of Mixed Reality resources is not statistically significant. Thus showing that all conditions evaluated can be used in the proposed context, since the difference in performance between the combinations does not impact the task. Besides, the results also indicate that the application developed in this work has potential as a training tool for the evaluated context since the collaboration model allows the sharing of knowledge between users in a master/apprentice model.pt_BR
